Christmas time in Hot, Hot Dallas

Affenpinscher looking for santaAs you all know, it has been very hot in Texas The past few weeks. Wouldn’t it feel so much better to think about something cold?? Like December? Winter? Cold weather? Wind blowing? Feel it now. Brrrrrr…..

So how about thinking about Christmas cards? No? Well I went out and got a Santa suit today. Yes, the place I got it thought it a little odd that I want to get  a Santa suit in 100 degree Dallas weather. But no matter. I’m photographing for Christmas cards now and I have some great ideas for the Santa suit. It should be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to it. Dogs and Santa. Stockings full of dog treats.

So it is time for me to pull out all of those plastic “dog friendly” Christmas tree ornaments, all those dog sized Santa hats, and all of those other holiday themed props for our holiday card photo sessions.

Yes, it seems strange to think this way in 100+ degree weather, but our photo session calendar is getting full. And we need to squeeze in photo sessions for Christmas cards. Maybe it will make me feel a little cooler? If you want to feel cooler too, let us know when you’d like to come in for a Christmas card session.

Margaret your great!!!! Saw the proofs of our Bloodhound Friday Night, and they are fantastic!!!!! I love the “Time Out Chair” photo and the “Police Gear” photo. I can’t wait to see the final product. Thanks Margaret for capturing “once in a lifetime memories” of our bloodhound’s puppyhood.
